Kiambu MP Jude Njomo has asked Kiamumbi bodaboda riders to be patient with his office saying money to construct them a shed has been set aside.
This follows complaints by the riders who claim they are the only ones without a shed, in the Constituency, to shelter them from harsh weather.
"I would like the Kiamumbi bodaboda youths to know our Constituency Development Fund (CDF) has never been used to construct bodaboda sheds.
“The sheds in Riabai, Ndumberi and Ting'ang'a were constructed by the county government," said Njomo.
Speaking in Kiambu town on Tuesday Njomo said that initially his CDF was allocating money to construct standard sheds for all bodaboda riders in his Constituency before the county government jumped the gun and made makeshifts sheds.
"In Kiamumbi we will make a standard shed unlike those makeshifts by the county government. The shed should be able to cushion them from any kind of weather,” said Njomo.
He was speaking to journalists during a projects inspection tour in his constituency.
