Former President Mwai Kibaki has moved to court to seek the ownership of a company he said he has owned since 1970.
Together with his co-director Mr. Kimwangu Kanyutu they want the Environmental and Land court ruling issued over the ownership of Mathingira Wholesalers Limited reversed.
Kibaki is seeking to have the two parts run the affairs of the company jointly.
He, through his lawyer, also argues that all applicants were not heard when the first ruling was issued against them.
The dispute started way back in 2008 when the company’s directors failed to agree on management following the appointment of a new director.
