[Photo|PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of the late Elizabeth Mumbi Githinji mother to Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi.In his message, Monday, Kenyatta described the late Elizabeth Mumbi as a dedicated mother and a role model to the community, who inspired many people in achieving their goals. "We will always remember Mama Elizabeth as a lovely and dedicated Christian, who was kind and loving," Uhuru said, and further prayed to God to give the family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.The deceased is a sister-in-law former President Mwai Kibaki.She was the wife of Kibaki's late elder brother Philip Muriithi Kibaki, whose son, Governor Ndiritu Muriithi, is Kibaki's nephew.Muriithi was elected on an Independent ticket, in August 8 election.
