Retired President Mwai Kibaki's daughter has landed a government appointment.
Ms. Judith Wanjiku Kibaki was picked alongside other Jubilee politicians who lost in the 2017election.
Wanjiku is to serve as a board member of the Kenya Investment Authority.
Among the appointees is retired general Julius Karangi and unionist Mudzo Nzili will now serve as a Non-executive member of the National Irrigation Board.
President Uhuru also announced the approval of the appointment of Charles Owino Oyugi to the board of directors at the South Nyanza Sugar company.
Suleiman Shabhal has been picked to join the Kenya Trade Network Agency for three years.
Shabhal was Jubilee party's candidate for the Mombasa Gubernatorial race but lost toODM's Governor Hassan Joho.
Former Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi has also been picked. Mr Cheboi will now serve in the Agriculture Development Corporation Board until 2022. He lost his seat after being defeated in the Jubilee party primaries to Stanley Kiptis last year.The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Board will now have former Isiolo Governor Godana Dayo as its board non-executive chairperson.
