Kibera Black Stars finished the season on a low note after falling to GFE 105 in their season finale match.
The game was staged at the Thika Sub-county Stadium on Saturday.
Black Stars went down 0-1 to the Eldoret-based hosts and the team has now apologised to the fans for not staging a better show.
"No energy, no moral, no techniques for KBS players who lost 0-1 against GFE 105 in Thika this afternoon," he team posted on their official Facebook page.
"A bit disappointed to finish the league on a wrong note. Sorry guys for the bad performance today but congratulations for the nice second leg in your first season in NSL. You really did so well this year again. Proud of you," the statement added.
The defeat came just days after they had suffered another 2-0 defeat at the hands of promoted side Wazito FC at Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi.
