Kibera residents were on Wednesday morning treated to an unusual event after Kenya’s leading betting firm SportPesa sent a limousine to pick the new millionaire.
SportPesa unveiled the new Mega Jackpot Sh230 million winner in an event held in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Accompanying him was the recent Mega Jackpot winner, Samuel Abisai who was the first Kenyan to win.
Migori County born Ogada becomes the second and the highest winner of the Mega Jackpot after Samuel Abisai from Kakamega who won Sh221 million last year.
Just like Abisai, Ogada correctly predicted the outcome of 17 matches to win Sh230,742,881.
The victory followed a live broadcast on Tuesday after game number 11, Troyes vs Dijon was postponed.
SportPesa runs the Mega Jackpot games every weekend with the amount increasing weekly until someone wins by correctly predicting the outcome of all the 17 matches.
