Some 50 teams in Kibera have received football jerseys through a donation by the Celtic Foundation based in Glasgow and kit manufacturer New Balance.

The event was facilitated by betting giants Dafabet who are also shirt sponsors of Victor Wanyama's former Scottish side Celtic FC.

Dubbed #Turudigame, the initiative aims at re-introducing competitive football and talent nurturing in Kenya.

All the beneficiaries were gifted with this seasons Celtic FC jerseys in commemoration of fifty years since the side won the European Cup.

The Saturday event was held at Olympic Secondary School in Kibera and involved charity matches where Dafabet-sponsored Kibera Celtic took on local rivals Kibera Lexus where Celtic won 2-1.
