The wealth is in terms of education and adequate governance skills after the constituency partnered with International Commission of Jurists.

According to the area Member of Parliament, Ken Okoth this will see the local leaders be able to handle matters affecting the community more so the ones in the slum.

“The objective of the forum was to empower the local community leaders on the criminal justice systems. It is, therefore, our belief that the training will make the beneficiaries aware of their fundamental basic rights and the need to access legal representation,” said Okoth.

He called upon all leaders to take advantage of the program to increase the leadership skill and help the society.

The trained leaders came from the five wards in Kibera; Lindi, Laini Saba, Woodley, Makina and Sarang'ombe.
