A group of young people, alumni and friends of Kibera Primary School have joined hands to uplift the face of the school.
This is one of the oldest schools in Kibra Constituency and was build in 1950's.
The construction was a gift of £2,000 from the Army Benevolent Fund to honour the service that was offered by Sudanese soldiers who died for the cause of East African Riffles during World War 2.
The school was officially opened by Sir Evelyn Baring in the year of coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
The youth who were joined by founder of Pamoja FM Adam Hussein and alumni of the school gavegave new colours to some of the classroom blocks.
Mr Adam told the youth to mobilise themselves to give back to the school.
"Kibera Primary deserve to be one of the best institutions in this country," he said.
