Kibera parents received bursary cheques to boost their children’s education early last week.

This made Kibera residents warmly appreciate and thank the area MP, Ken Okoth for the good job he is doing in Kibera to ensure that child education is enhanced.

Speaking this morning at Raila village in Kibera, Justus Kigwaro, a parent who received a bursary cheque has lauded Okoth for considering Kibera children by giving them money that will enable them to remain in school.

“I take this opportunity to thank our able leader Hon. Okoth for the tremendous job he is doing to us Kibera residents. The initiative which Okoth started to help children is good and I congratulate him,” said Kigwaro.

“More schools are being built which is good. I urge leaders who will come after Okoth to follow in the same footsteps to transform Kibera,” said Miriam Nzioki, a parent in the area.

“I urge residents who received bursaries to support Okoth in the coming election so as he could be able to finish his projects he might not have finished by the time election will be conducted. I am really happy for him,” urged Clinton Omondi, a resident in Raila village.

The event took place at Olympic Primary School in Kibera and was officiated by area MP, Ken Okoth has been received happily by residents.
