Just like any other person in the world, Kibera residents have revealed their plans for the Easter holidays.
‘‘This year’s Easter holiday is special to me because I have come up with a team where we will meet to share the word of God and take some food to the less fortunate street children. We have saved enough money to buy food to feed the children,’’ said Anne Waweru, a resident of the area.
BonnyJerongo said he will stay at home with his family since his salary will not be enough to take them out.
‘‘I really wanted to take my family out but my salary has let me down. It is a good thing that they have understood me. I will, therefore, sit at home and help my wife with house cleaning,’’ he said.
Gregory Muhia, on the other hand, said he will visit his family in Homa Bay County to celebrate the holiday at home.
‘‘I believe it will be a good moment for the family,’’ said Muhia.
