Many will say Kibera is a hard place to live. To residents here, that is a non issue.
Hezekiah Ogira, a teacher at Magoso Primary school said that being born in Kibera is a talent on its own. This is because it opens up people’s minds to use their talents to earn a living.
‘’Take for instance, the challenges these young people pass through while in the slum villages. Some will not value education at all. According to some, the reality of life that many people are educated but don’t have jobs makes them never want to go to school at all. They value their talents and will work hard to see their talents pay off in the future,’’ said Ogira.
Ogira says the movie which is sponsored by Docubox and has the Kibera theme attached to it includes the challenges of living in Kibera which he believes will help residents and non residents see how other people suffer and how they work hard to get out of that state.
The movie is set to be screened on March 30, this year.
