A prominent and controversial Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor on Thursday caused a stir at an Eldoret court after he accused his sons of colluding with his wife to trouble him by destroying his property.
There was drama outside the Eldoret law courts after Kibor who hit the headlines last year after he was granted divorce against his second wife of 52 years accused his sons of being used by his mother to destroy his properties.
Kibor had just filed a case against his sons for destroying his tractor.
Court documents indicate that the two sons, Evans and Raymond Kibor destroyed the tractor belonging to Kibor in March at Kong’asis village in Eldoret East area.
Kibor, in the court documents, says the destruction caused is valued at Sh90,453.
The two sons while appearing before the Eldoret Chief Magistrate Charles Obulutsa denied all the charges and were released on Sh10, 000 each with a surety of similar amount.
The case will be mentioned on April 19.
Kibor is not new to controversies and court cases, it is only recently that he filed another case against his two sons for malicious suit in relation to a case in which the sons had sued him for allegedly threatening to kill them using his gun in their family farm in Uasin Gishu County on March 7 last year.
The case was later dropped by the Eldoret Principal Magistrate Naomi Wairimu.
