Veteran politician and Tycoon Jackson Kibor has been disarmed according to reports by KTN news.
The farmer's gun was impounded after the Thursday ordeal when he tried to shoot his son over land rows.
According to Mr Kibor, his sons were involved in a tussle over his land and wanted take over his property therefore forcing him to protect himself.
As depicted in a video, the former politician is seen shootin three times. He shot at his son Ezekiel Kipng'etich who was wielding a matchete.
"I am saddened by the actions of the police. Instead of asking me where the problem stemmed from they just seized my gun and claimed that it was not registered," a disheartened Kibor said.
"I have had my gun since 1982 and all authorities know about it ," he continued.
He said that the gun ensured his protection and that he only used it to protect himself and his property.
