Kibra constituency will support bright pupils who passed the 2016 KCPE exams.
MP Ken Okoth took himself to interview the pupils who he said will get financial assistance.
"To us, everyday is a working day," Okoth said on Sunday.
"Today (Sunday) I interviewed over 200 pupils from Kibra schools who attained 350 marks and above in the 2016 KCPE."
"The students who will demonstrate exemplary performance in the interview will be supported with between Sh30,000-25,000 per year. However, those who will not make it will get Sh5,000."
He said his administration will remain committed to serving the people of Kibra with respect, dignity and without favour, discrimination nor nepotism.
