The governor, who spoke at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega, said that the Mulembe has enough reasons to back the election of Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka also Wiper Leader to ascend to power in the forthcoming general elections.
The lawmaker also took a swipe at the national government for hampering devolution since it took over leadership following the last general election.
The governor claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have been a stumbling block in the quest to devolve power across the countries.
He further said that the two leaders have been frustrating governors in different ways.The remarks of the governor were reiterated by Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga who said the Jubilee government has failed Kenyan.
The NASA Presidential candidate asked Kenyans to Jubilee the current government to realize change by supporting his dream.
“Kenyans should punish Jubilee by sending President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto packing for not fulfilling promises they made before taking power in 2013,” he said, as quoted by Nation.
