Representing KICD at the Kenya Primary School Heads Association (Kepsha) conference in Mombasa, Jwan said that all schools are not equal in terms of resources and the skills and talents of students could never be compared.

"Ranking is not a parameter that can be used to determine learning. Ranking is based on a flawed system that assumes are schools are the same. This is not the case as the skills talents of students are different and the schools are also equipped differently," he said.

Jwan has called for more emphasis to be put in the ongoing curriculum reforms that are set to revamp the current education system.

KICD is among the team that is tasked with coming up with new education system (2-6-6-3) set to replace the current 8-4-4 system.
