Nairobi County boss Evans Kidero now wants opposition leader Raila Odinga's critics to be ready for his presidency in August.

Kidero, who is facing fierce challenge from Jubilee Party candidates, further says Odinga would restore economic prosperity and integration among Kenyan communities.

He was speaking on Saturday during the burial of Nairobi County Assembly speaker Alex Ole Magelo's father.

"All these issues you have raised here are genuine and can only be worked on if Odinga is the president. I am sure he will win so there is no need to worry," Kidero said.

"Those doubting should be prepared for this. Kenyans are tired with an ignorant regime that cares less about the welfare of its people," he said.

Odinga is set to try his forth and perhaps the last attempt to clinch presidency after three unsuccessful attempts.

The opposition team is yet to settle on an ideal candidate though who will face a much organized Jubilee Party team under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
