Kidero said aspiring politicians should never be scared of being eliminated in the primaries, noting that only those that have not been doing to their expectations should worry about being eliminated.

"Party primaries should be credible enough and transparent to curb party hopping. Politicians should never fear being eliminated, their report card speaks on their behalf," Kidero stated.

The governor's sentiments come at a time when he expressed his confidence that he will be automatically re-elected to head the city-county, saying he has done much for the county since his election in March 2013.

" My opponents and critics say I have not done much for city residents since ascending to power in 2013. The truth is I have greatly improved the city," issued Kidero.

He enumerated city street lighting, roads construction, and maintenance, improved educational standards in public schools and health services as his major achievements.
