Kiplagat claims that Kidero sent him to deliver the money to Tunoi who was to help him win his case which was petitioned by Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu.

Appearing before the JSC committee, Kidero said he had never met with Kiplagat and that he does not even know him. He insisted that he only heard of Kiplagat during the time he was alleged to have bribed Tunoi.

‘‘I have never met Kiplagat. If I had then I don’t remember. I have never met Judge Tunoi either. I have only seen him on TV,’’ said Kidero.

The governor insists that he did not bibe Tunoi at all. The judge is alleged to have received a sh200 million bribe to help deliver a favourable judgment to Kidero.
