Nairobi County governor, Evans Kidero has said he is confident of his achievements as the county chief.
Speaking during the 40th-anniversary celebrations at the Parklands Baptist Church on Sunday, Kidero issued that Jubilee will have to contend with tough campaigns if they have to unseat him.
Kidero further urged Nairobi, residents, to support him together with his deputy during the incoming elections, noting that the team has truly worked to elevate the county to higher levels.
"We should shun considerations other that ability to deliver that most of us resort to when choosing the leadership of a city or a nation. Nairobi is in safe hands. Rally behind us and support my Deputy and I to continue making it a better place. Our stable leadership has ensured that Nairobi is now able to continue attracting international meetings, not by default but because the city meets the test of globalisation," Kidero said.
The county boss also encouraged the city residents to be prayerful and voting in politicians whose records do not speak of their achievements.
"We should stop giving prominence to trivial considerations at the expense of merit when voting in the leadership that we want. Let us also learn to be a prayerful people," he added.
