Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Peter Kenneth has blamed the Cholera outbreak on the city's county government.
Speaking in Ziwani on Monday, Kenneth said the county government is a reflection of the failure to provide proper services regarding sanitation since the disease is caused by low standards of hygiene.
“In Nairobi, (the) Kidero administration has neglected garbage collection and poor hygienic conditions. Instead of the city being run as a city in the Sun, it is now the city of garbage. The drainage is poor and sewage is just flowing freely,” he said.
He added that water shortage and poor garbage disposal coupled with infiltration of water cartels in Nairobi came about since the City Hall government does not care about its people.
