Former Nairobi town clerk, Philip Kisia, has hit out at governor Evans Kidero for what he calls gross mismanagement of the city and it's resources.

Kisia decried Nairobi's condition, saying that the once vibrant city has gone from bad to worse under Kidero's watch.

"The incumbent governor has run down the most economically strategic county, he should leave," he said as quoted by the Star.

"There is nothing to show for the Sh200 billion raised from taxes and allocations from the national government," he added.

The self proclaimed turn-around king, who has shown interest in the governor's position, has asked residents of Nairobi to transfer power to competent leaders who will mange the city properly and return it to its glory days.
