City Hall Speaker Alex Magelo was on Tuesday forced to adjourn the debate on Governor Evans Kidero's impeachment motion when only one MCA attended the sitting.
Parklands MCA Jeffer Kassam's presence could not meet quorum as most MCAs are currently in Kisumu attending Inter-county games.
However, a number of MCAs including minority leader Abdi Guyo are said to have been within City Hall Corridors when the session was supposed to be on.
The Kidero impeachment continues to hit a snag even after Magelo last Thursday ordered that the motion be debated.
Trouble for the motion began earlier last month when Kidero obtained a court order insulating him from the impeachment wrath, something Magelo dismissed arguing that the court was only barring City Hall from summoning Kidero to defend himself.
