The former presidential aspirant, who resigned from KNC, is set to battle for Jubilee Party nominations in the Nairobi gubernatorial race.

Kenneth will battle out with senator Mike Mbuvi, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, nominated MP Johnstone Sakaja and Bishop Margret Wanjiru in the nominations.

"I agree that Nairobi elected a manager but a poor one. That is why we are facing challenges, four years since the inception of devolution," he told his supporters at Kayoke on Sunday.

He added: "We need a focused manager who can come with long term solution on easing traffic jam, cleaning the city and developing the county. I am confident that I can do that."

Reecently, Mr Mbuvi accused Kenneth of proposing to bribe him with Sh1bn to drop his gubernatorial ambitions, claims which Kenneth termed as 'primitive'.
