Nairobi governor, Evans Kidero has stated that he is never shaken by the political alliances currently being launched by gubernatorial aspirants, especially the Jubilee trio eyeing his seat in the forthcoming General Election.
Kidero exuded confidence that he will be automatically re-elected to head the City County for another term in the 2017 polls despite the onslaught by tripple political camps allied to the Jubilee Party.
“The difference between Kidero is that I am focused on service delivery, while they (Jubilee aspirants) are focused on themselves, they are just focused on getting jobs. I am never worried about them, absolutely not,” stated Kidero.
Speaking at his City Hall office, Kidero dismissed the alliances byJubilee politicians one led by Senator Sonko, nominated MP Sakaja, and the Dagoretti South legislator, Dennis Waweru.
“I can never think of what I should be doing after the 2017 elections. I will still be here serving the people of Nairobi,” Kidero added.
Kidero was speaking on Wednesday, just a day after Sakaja, Waweru and Mike Sonko announced the formation of a new alliance under the brand “Team Nairobi”.
