[Photo: mpasho.co.ke]Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero now claims his rival Mike Sonko is being used by Jubilee administration to secure the coveted capital's governor’s seat, claiming the Nairobi Senator will be shortchanged after the job is done.Kidero said the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led government will abandon Sonko and propel his running mate Polycarp Igathe to the position since he is their project to rob from the city coffers.“Jubilee are just using him to clinch Nairobi. After they win, they will use cases against him and make Polycarp Igathe the governor,” he said.The Governor spoke while addressing the members of Kamba community living in Nairobi at City Stadium on Sunday.He was accompanied by his Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke and Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama.Kidero further castigated Sonko for not showing up at a gubernatorial debate held last week and sending his running mate instead." Sonko is a coward who is hiding under the bed. He has failed to show up for two debates now. Is that kind of a leader you want who is even afraid of debates?" he posed.Mueke urged Nairobi residents not to elect Sonko claiming he is a 'thief' and a 'drug-dealer' who cannot foster development in the city.
