Speaking during a fundraiser at Maxwell Seventh Day Adventist church in Nairobi, Kidero wants all ghost workers who he claimed deliver invoices to his City Hall office for payment of services not done.

As an assurance to the public the governor expressed his will to arrest and fire all county staff members who are in collusion with ghost contractors and suppliers determined to fleece huge sums of cash from his government.

Kidero affirmed that his government is committed to offering quality services to all Nairobi residents irrespective of social class but sadly noted the presence of cartels especially in the lands department.

The county boss identified the garbage collection unit to be the leading lead in the tally of ghost contractors.

According to Kidero, Nairobi County streamlined its procurement of services by embracing the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS), which he pointed out will help in filtering out fake suppliers.
