Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero on Thursday night raised over Sh200 million for his re-election campaigns.The evening cocktail was attended by invites only, mostly politicians and rich business persons.The four National Super Alliance (NASA) principals, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula did not attend the fundraiser, according to the Star.Kidero appears to be ODM’s candidate for the seat.He will, however, face stiff competition from Jubilee and independent candidates who have declared interest in the county’s top seat.They are Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, Nominated MP Johnston Sakaja, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, former Gitanga MP Peter Kenneth and lawyer Miguna Miguna.
