If elections were held today, Nairobi governor Evans Kidero would defeat his competitors by 35.5%, a survey conducted by Infotrak has indicated.

In the poll survey released to the media on Monday, Jubilee Party candidates Peter Kenneth and Senator Mike Sonko polled 23% and 20.2% respectively.

“The sampling design translated into a margin of error of -/+ 3.5 at 95 per cent degree of confidence,” the poll said.

“A sample of 800 respondents was interviewed to represent the 2016 Nairobi county projected adult population of 2,043,643,” the poll further observed.

Others candidates include: Miguna Miguna at 1.2 per cent, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru 0.9 per cent, Esther Passaris with 0.7 per cent and Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru with 0.6 per cent.

A Kenneth - Sonko partnership remains Jubilee's favourite, polling 43.2 per cent of the electorate.

The two have, however, ruled out a possibility of working together.
