Nyalenda ward representative Jack Onunga had warned Nairobi Governor Dr Evans Kidero to desist from interfering in the affairs of Homa Bay senatorial by elections.
Speaking to journalist at the Kisumu County Assembly, Mr Onunga said Governor Kidero should concentrate with development affairs in Nairobi.
"We have confirmed he is a Jubilee mole who sympathises with non-ODM supporters. He has no authority to force Hon Mbadi to support non-ODM candidate," said Mr Onunga.
"We know he is spend-force working with cohorts at the expense of service delivery to the people of Nairobi," he added.
Mr Onunga urged all supports of ODM to support Moses Kajwang to prove that ODM has big following in Nyanza.
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero on Tuesday, contrary to his ODM party, declared support for former Rangwe MP Philip Okundi in the Homa Bay senatorial by-election, a move that could spark tension between him and Orange leader Raila Odinga who supports Moses Kajwang ahead of the February 12 by-election.
Mr Okundi’s ticket is the Maendeleo Democratic Party, while Mr Odinga is supporting late Senator Otieno Kajwang’s brother Moses, who was directly nominated by the ODM’s National Elections Board.
