Nairobi governor Dr Evans Kidero visited families that were affected by fire in Kismayu village, South C and Shauri Moyo.
The Saturday night fire displaced more than ten families in the slum areas of Kismayu village and Shauri Moyo in Eastlands part of the County.
Kidero attributed the fire to the dry weather, as drought continues to ravage most parts of the Country.
He urged all Nairobi residents to be more vigilant this dry spell, and assured of his commitment to serve the electorates.
"The fire department and disaster management teams at Nairobi County will continue to work with Nairobians to avert disaster. I urge all of you to be vigilant during this dry spell,'' he said, as he addressed a crowd.
