Former Nairobi County Chief Finance Officer Jimmy Kiamba and three others have been acquitted.
The four were facing corruption charges.
Anti-Corruption Magistrate Kennedy Bidali freed the accused on the grounds that the prosecution failed to prove its case.
Kiamba, County Secretary Lilian Wanjiru Ndegwa, Regina Chepkemoi and Stephen Ogaga were facing seven counts of abuse of office.
The accused had earlier denied charges of stealing more than Sh20 million from the county.
They allegedly obtained the money between January 1 and December 31, 2014.
