Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has told former Gatanga MP Peter Keneth to prepare for a bigger humiliation in the city gubernatorial race. This is after Keneth announced that he had entered the race as an indepedent candidate following the defeat in teh Jubilee nominations by Senator Mike Sonko. While addressing the media at St Stephen’s Anglican Church in Nairobi on SaturdayKidero laughed off the re-entry of Mr Kenneth saying that he was in political denial after losing in the primaties. “We welcome him to the race because he was well on his way to becoming a member of county assembly but let him prepare for a political beating he has never witnessed,” said Kidero. Kidero further expressed confidence that he would be given a second term as the governor of Nairobi County. “Nairobi residents know who they want. They want a consistent, predictable, reliable and dependable leader and that person is me. We are ready for Jubilee or any other person and it will not be easy here,” he said.
