Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has called on NASA supporters not to flee to their rural homes during the election period.

According to Kidero, residents should not fall for propaganda by Jubilee and flee the city.

"We know some of our people who registered here want to go home because they think there will be violence. Please don't do so because your vote is important."

He spoke on Monday during re-election campaigns in Mukuru Kwa Reuben.

He was accompanied by NASA running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
