Kiambu County will soon establish a Kidney care center that will provide dialysis services to thousands of suffering kidney patients according to the Health CeC Jonah Mwangi.
Mwangi said that the county governments’ Medical Strategic plan indicates that the kidney care centres will be established in Kiambu town to help benefit families and people suffering from the disease.
He said that the kidney related disease has been on rampant in not only Kiambu County but the entire nation and he is keener in preventing the killer disease from invading the county.
The CeC who was speaking in Thika town said that he has toured many public hospitals in the county and many families are lose their loved one due to the kidney related infections that has broken his heart.
Mwangi said that the dialysis will help thousands of people suffering from the Kidney failure thus will also boost the economy of the county in terms of finance as patients will be getting the medical services at a very affordable price.
“I will continue with my intense technical deliberations aimed at ensuring that we soon establish a Kidney care center in Kiambu County that will provide dialysis services to thousands of suffering Kidney patients within the county as per my Government's Medical strategic plan,” said Mwangi
He extended his gratitude to the county government of Kiambu for financial support in making and validating the dream of Kidney care center and urged residents to remain calm as they await the progress the county government is embarking.
He urged the public to eat healthy related food and avoid junk foods which will deteriorate their health status in the county.
