Kihika said the incidents show something is wrong and should be addressed.

“It is not normal. Every day were hear cases of more than two schools that are on fire. I think there needs to be proper and thorough analysis of what is going on and then take the right actions,” she added.

She was speaking in Kiamunyi area in Rongai where she appealed parents to analyze the trends and behavior of their children.

“As parents we need to talk to the children and understand very well where the problem lies. There is also need to ensure that the children needs are well catered for, “she added

“I am also appealing to residents to pray for their children and the nation because clearly, something is very wrong. Children cannot be instigating each other to light up fires and there is no force behind it,” she said.

The speaker also challenged the area leaders to work with school administrations into looking at what was wrong .
