The political war between Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and Nakuru County Assembly Speaker Susan Kihika might escalate ahead of the 2017 poll.
This is after Ngunjiri dismissed Kihika’s Nakuru senatorial bid. He accused the Speaker of running the assembly in a dictatorial manner.
“Speaker Susan Kihika's bid to be Senator is jinxed because she is a ruthless dictator who ruled the Nakuru County Assembly with an iron fist,” he said.
Ngunjiri hailed Karanja Kabage as the only fit to lead Nakuru.
“Kabage is mature, highly educated and politically connected all the way to the presidency,” Ngunjiri said.
Ngunjiri and Kihika have been embroiled in a battle of political supremacy since 2013 when both locked horns in the race for Bahati MP during TNA nominations.
Ngunjiri emerged the victor.
They later teamed to have Kihika elected County Speaker before they differed.
