Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has sent a message of condolence to the family and friends of departed fellow lawmaker and Kitui West Member of Parliament Francis Nyenze.
She also condoled with his constituents for the loss of their leader.
‘’My most sincere condolences to the people of Kitui West for the loss of their MP and fellow lawmaker Hon. Francis Nyenze,’’ she said in her Facebook account.
‘’To the family and friends, may God give you strength to face the loss,’’ she added.
Nyenze who was elected on opposition’s Wiper Party ticket died Wednesday while receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital where he was being treated for colon cancer and breathing difficulties.
The lung problems were as a result of a long treatment for cancer, a disease he had been battling for close to a decade.
He died at 60.
