Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has termed opposition NASA leader Raila Odinga's presidential 'inauguration' dated for December 12 as another lie aimed at calming down his demoralized supporters.

In a tweet on her account Wednesday, the senator also attributed the alliance's current woes and fall on its move to pull out of the October 26 presidential re-run, saying that Odinga has now grown desperate after once again losing out on a chance to fulfill his ambition for the top post.

According to the lawmaker, Odinga's advisory team is largely to blame for misleading him.

''I told you all NASA had no capacity to stop the elections unless they knew something we didn't. They said they knew the law but clearly they didnt. On October 26 the elections happened. They misadvised Baba not to participate now see how desperate he has become,'' said Kihika.

''December 12 is just another hoax,'' she added.

Odinga and team withdrew from the race days prior lamenting over national poll body IEBC's defiance to address their demands for reforms.

He on Tuesday announced that he will be taking the oath of office during the People's Assembly convention slated for December 12, a move that if happens, could mark the start of another political confrontation with the ruling Jubilee side.
