The National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is a very frustrated man, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has said.
According to Kihika, the Opposition Chief had realised he could not succeed in his quest for the presidency and had resorted to sabotaging the economy.
The Speaker said efforts by Raila to form National Resistance Movement (NRM) and call to boycott some products, were a scheme to get power through the back door by making the country ungovernable.
"We want to tell Raila that Kenya will not go into post-election chaos as he expected and we are calling on Kenyans to ignore his boycott call," the lawmaker said.
Kihika was speaking during the burial of a member of her staff, Anthony Kipyegon, in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County.
Kipyegon perished alongside four others in a tragic helicopter crash in Lake Nakuru.
Speaking at the same event, area Governor Stanley Kiptis said the civil disobedience championed by Raila risk destabilising the country.
"We want to state that we have a country to take care of and we are tired of all manner of games and intrigues by Raila, who wants to lead Kenya through dubious means," Kiptis said as quoted by the Nation.
