Speaking to the press on Thursday at Kikuyu Police Station, Kikuyu Police Boss, Mutune Maweu said that they have received a number of complaints concerning bar owners selling alcohol to young children.

"We received a number of complaints from parents saying that the bar owners have been selling alcohol to minors. I want to make this clear and to send this stern warning to all bar owners and also the bar operators to ensure that they strictly avoid selling alcohol to youths who are still minors,” said Maweu.

Maweu said that any person who will be caught selling alcohol to minors will be arrested and prosecuted.
