More pressure has been added to President Uhuru Kenyatta as he navigates the tricky business of unveiling his second-term cabinet.Groups from various quarters have been calling on him to consider them, the latest being the Kikuyu Council of Elders who have called on the president to reward people from the Mt. Kenya region because they stood behind his re-election bid.The council's secretary-general, Peter Munga, told the Sunday Nation that the elders will hold prayers and issue a joint statement in the coming days. This complicates the process for the president who has to take into account a wide array of factors: 2022 succession politics, qualifications, securing a legacy... among many other things.
