Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa has dismissed calls by CORD leader Raila Odinga to call for snap elections saying that Jubilee Government will be in charge untill 2017 when General elections will be held.
Ichungwa who was speaking this morning in a local radio station said that Raila's call for early elections is misguided and ill-informed. He instead asked the opposition to first keep their house in order before they can think of early elections.
"As we talk CORD does not even know who their presidential candidate will be, come 2017 and they are now talking of snap elections. This is absurd," said Ichung'wa.
"All the three CORD principals have been fronted by their respective parties to vie for presidency in 2017 leaving everybody in confusion including them. Jubilee has a 20 years plan and they should know that," he added.
The first time MP has exuded confidence saying that even if elections were to be held today, Jubilee would still carry the day as they are still delivering their 2013 election promises.
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has however distanced himself from calls for snap elections saying their focus is on Okoa Kenya.
