Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wa, has urged residents in the area to give their support to governor Kabogo in his bid to develop the constituency. Addressing residents on Wednesday in the town, Ichung’wa said that it was important for area residents to support their governor and forget about other agendas.
He said that the governor should be respected as he is in charge of the whole county and should be given support by residents. The MP added that it was time to work towards development and it was important for the residents to show their support to their governor in his effort towards developing the area.
Ichung’wa said that in order to foster development in the area, he will be required to work closely with the governor and the area residents.
“I want to call upon all residents within my constituency to give their full support to the governor William Kabogo in his effort to enhance development in the area. As the MP I give my full support to the governor and I respect him. I also want my people to respect and support the governor as he is the leader of the county,” said Ichung’wa.
Julius Kinuthia, a resident in the area, said that development was the most important thing at the moment and residents should honour the MP’s plea.
He promised to give his full support to the governor towards the development of the constituency and the county as whole.
