Nyahururu boda boda operators are living in fears following increased killing of their colleagues.
This is after the body of a boda boda operator was discovered on Tuesday near New KCC Factory.
According to riders, their colleague John Gachuki was murdered and body dumped in the area.
"We are in fear due to increased killings of our friends. Police should beef up security to ensure our operations goes on smoothly," James Githinji, a rider, said.
He added that they are forced to close business by 7 pm since they are fearing for their lives.
Nyandarua North OCPD Timon Odingo said the deceased's body had injuries on the head.
"The killers seemed to have hit the deceased with a blunt object on the head and killed him before they dumped his body," said Odingo.
The OCPD said police will increase patrols and assured riders that the attackers will be nabbed soon.
