The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) has signed an MoU with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with the aim of beefing up local personnel capacity.

The twoentities have agreed to work together towards training workers.

The training will entail utilising workers strengths and capacities in experience, expertise and resources.

“KIM is committed to building quality capacity in this country for enhanced institutional and business performance and this partnership should scale the efforts in this regard for more impact,” said KIM executive director Muriithi Ndegwa.

The initiative will assist in building knowledge, sharing information, developing skills and influencing attitudes on the subject of human resource.

Human resource officers are involved in management of human capital through recruiting staff, training, performance-rewarding through salaries and motivation, and enhancing employee-employer relations.

“I am delighted that KIM and IHRM have come together in this partnership. KIM has a large number of human resource students.
