Photo/the-star.comMathare United FC boss Francis Kimanzi has attributed recent poor form to transition at the club.Kimanzi has featured a youthful team since the beging of the season winning only two out of ten matches. “Transition in the team seems to be a tall order but it was inevitable. We are grooming a new set of players and working so hard but results are not coming. It doesn’t mean we have to give up. We need to toughen up.“The players feel (the poor run) more than the coaches and we want to see if we can collect between nine and 12 points in the first round,” he added. Most of the Mathare squad features players under 20 .“In the absence of key starters in the striking department like Derrick (Onyango) who picked a knock against Bandari, we have the likes of Chris (Ochieng’) who clocked 90 minutes against Sharks. It shows that they are growing well in the demanding atmosphere in SPL,” he quoted by sportpesa news.
