Kilifi governor Amason Kingi has accused the Jubilee administration of failing to tame the High cost of living in the country.
Speaking at Ngerenya trading centre in Tezo ward on Wednesday, the opposition governor urged the residents to vote out President Uhuru Kenyatta during the forthcoming general elections, urging them to instead back Opposition alliance NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta did not get any votes here in 2013 and the same will happen in the August elections. He will get nothing because the people of Kilifi know their journey for change will be accomplished by Raila Odinga," he stated.
He furthe accused the Jubilee administration of hastily implementing projects in the area, in a view to hoodwink residents for votes.
"The Bamba-Mariakani road is being done in a shoddy way and the contractor is being pushed to finish before the August General Election," he noted.
