Kilifi governor Amason Kingi met opinion leaders from Mnarani ward and later addressed rallies at Vuma and Mavueni, Mnarani ward.They engaged on the success stories on how initiated development projects had transformed the lives of Mnarani ward, with Kingi saying the fruits of devolution were a manifesto in realisation how Kenyans were moving out of underdevelopment and marginalisation."My administration is committed to continue providing quality services as outlined in my manifesto four years ago when I took office. For the past four years of my administration, Mnarani ward has witnessed an improvement in healthcare service delivery, increased household access to piped and portable water services, improved performance in the pre-primary education sector as well as in our vocational training centers," he said.The governor indicated Mnarani ward now had better road networks, farmers can access subsidised farming inputs including tractor services being provided by the county government for ploughing. "As a government we are committed to improve agricultural produce by supplying farmers with quality, free certified seeds and fertilizers in every planting season. My government is proud of that track record and remains committed to fully realise the fruits of devolution," Kingi said, Monday.Addrrsesing residents, the ODM governor further campaigned for his Nasa coalition, saying: "A Nasa government under Raila Amolo Odinga will ensure the spirit of devolution is fully implemented by providing more resources to the grassroots level and address key issues affecting the local Mwananchi like the implementation of the TJRC report."
